In 1991 more than 60 wallpaper manufacturers united in a quality assurance association to satisfy the high demands of the consumer regarding ecological compatibility, and subject their products to repeated inspections. In conjunction with several institutions and agencies, rigorous and comprehensive quality provisions were defined, which well surpass the policies required by law. These were subsequently adopted by the German Institute for Quality Assurance and Identification e.V. (RAL). The adherence to the guidelines is regularly monitored by the independent Fraunhofer Institute in Braunschweig. Only products which meet these high demands, have the right to carry the depicted RAL Quality Seal.
All wallcoverings manufactured by Marburg wallcoverings carry the RAL Quality Seal.
